立立來了3 劍橋

表姊到的第一天我們就馬不停蹄的直奔劍橋.
來了英國那麼久我也還沒去過.
Although I have been in the UK for awhile, I have never been to Cambridge.

總之劍橋就是有很多古老學院聚集的地方.
除了看校園外還有一條河可以坐小船.
In short, Cambridge is just a place near by the river where lots college gathered.

這裡的街道都是石子路, 雨天路滑還差一點摔跤.

下面這個木橋是牛頓做的, 原本完全不用釘子就把它給架起來了.
話說有個無聊的博士好奇的把它給拆下, 但是從此再也沒辦法把它裝回去, 所以現在橋上釘了釘子...

立立來了2 F&M 高級下午茶

是滴,因為立立想要逛街, 所以順道安排下午茶的行程.
F&M就像 Harrods 一樣, 是走高級路線的古老百貨公司(之前我部落格有貼過, 所以不多說了).
來這裡喝茶要預約ㄛ.
價錢上真的有點貴, 貴到可以吃頓澎湃的晚餐了.
不過體驗一下...下次不會再去了.

Lily wants to go shopping, so we also arranged to go to F&M to have their famous afternoon tea.
To be honest, it's really pricy... so this will be our first time and also the last time to have tea here.

喝下午茶的地方在百貨公司的頂樓.
一進去就看到有人在彈琴. (照片沒人,因為想到要照時彈琴的人正在休息...)

3層點心.
通常最下層是鹹的三明治
中間層時司康, 另外會附果醬. 這家的果醬直接用罐裝的, 我和立立沒吃完就把它帶回家. 別看這兩罐沒什麼, 百貨樓下賣一模一樣的要7鎊ㄛ!
最上層是甜點.

We actually took the 2 jars to jams with us after we finished.
It would be a waste not to... cause they are selling the exact samethings downstairs for £7.

除了上層的甜點外, 房間的旁邊還有放了幾款蛋糕和馬卡龍可以自行取用.應該算是甜點吃到飽.
Besides the desserts in our plate, they also have other cakes and macarons on the side. You could eat as much as you want!

立立來了1

立立終於來了.
還從溫哥華帶了半箱的伴手禮. 開心開心.
接機實在太累了, 所以當天就沒帶立立出去. 不過晚餐還是有給立立high一下,因為我們點了一桌澎湃的印度餐(算是英國名產ㄛ).

Lily's finally here.
She brought me half a lugguage of Asian snacks, which was just what I needed. It was a long journey for us to go pick up Lily from airport, so I was too exhausted to take Lily anywhere else.
The highlight of the day for Lily was having the Indian take way dinner. She loved it so much that she told us she would want it again for dinner before she leaves London.
